A solar profile with saffron notes
The old vines of this solar Premier Cru yield dense wines with aromas of yellow fruits and oriental spices. Etymologically, ‘vallis‘ or ‘valles‘ means an elongated space between two reliefs. This concept of a small valley gave its name to the Les Vaillons climate.
Richness and complexity. A sun-drenched profile exhibiting saffron and spicy notes, accompanied by beautiful freshness and tension.
The Vineyard
Les Vaillons is an early-ripening terroir, facing south and east. The parcel features stony soil, protected by a plant cover. The very open and unobstructed location allows for wind circulation, creating a very healthy microclimate.
