One of the Domaine’s rarest Premiers Crus, produced in limited quantities. It is a very sunny terroir with steep slopes, where its well-ripened grapes yield a wine of fruity intensity, enhanced by a fine minerality. This Climat therefore falls into the category of charming and expressive wines.

The Vineyard

Domaine Laroche owns 0.23 hectares in a single plot of this Premier Cru. This very old vineyard once belonged to the monks of Pontigny. To protect this light soil from dry years, it is worked with a cover crop seeding. Located on the left bank and very well exposed, it ensures excellent grape ripeness. Harvests there are generally early.
